Start with the thermostat—not just the AC brand
Record the thermostat model, rooftop-unit model and complete display message. Our current Coleman-Mach coverage is limited: E2, HD1 and Code 10 do not yet have a verified model-specific guide here. Do not substitute the E1 page for those messages.
What to record before asking for help
The exact display. Photograph the message and note whether it appears on a wall thermostat, ceiling control or app.
When it happens. Note the selected mode, affected zone and whether the message appeared after a power interruption or equipment change.
The matching manual. Use the manufacturer’s model-specific instructions. Do not open electrical covers, change wiring or copy a reset sequence from another controller.
